Step 1.1 Talk to NPC Munin to get the quest (he is inside a crystal prison)
Step 1.2 Kill Woods Sparkie for Sparkie Eggs OR
Step 1.3 Kill Dundun Farmers and Dundun Looklook for Ginseng Root OR
Step 1.4 Collect Methu's Egg at the Odella plantation
